MVP for Proof of Care Whitepaper

Hi LZ

Hope you’re well. It’s been 18 months since our Masters at RMIT, and I’ve often thought about the sharp clarity you brought to blockchain application discussions. I think Proof of Care is ready to go to the next step even though blockchain and crypto are not fully integrated into African society – but will get there. I’d value your help and insight.

About the Project: MoreChildSurgeries & Proof of Care

You may remember MoreChildSurgeries the charitable platform funding life-changing operations for children in extreme poverty, primarily across Sub-Saharan Africa. Over 7 years, we’ve completed 1,400 surgeries. But now we’re taking it further – as you know I always wanted to and was the point of why I did my Masters with you.

Proof of Care (POC) is our next evolution and will become a fully transparent, video / AI verified, accountability system that tracks every act of care in a child’s surgical journey and scores it (out of 1000) for quality and follow-through.

It will connect efficiently and in a way to reduce inertia, wrong actions, fraud

  • Children + CSOs (Child Safety Officers) in villages,
  • Hospitals and medical teams, and
  • Donors, who receive live updates and progress via WhatsApp.

We’re now integrating crypto to handle incentives, records, and donor interaction—and this is where we’d love your help.

We will still go through fiat payments for services and when incentives need to be cashed – but crypto (USD stablecoins) can improve child surgery safety (smart contracts), build donor trust (direct contact with individuals) and give medical workers a way of saving for land etc – which will in turn focus all on more child surgeries, better pay for workers and more sustainable health systems.

What We Need From You (and Why You’re Perfect for It)

You’re fluent in crypto logic, Chinese and English, and grounded in real-world application (working on Stablecoins and in Africa). You also understand the stakes of ethical implementation. We need help setting up a simple, secure, scalable system that enables the following:

  1. Crypto Wallet Infrastructure for CSOs and Surgeons etc
  • Minting coins and protecting them.
  • A way for every CSO (Child Safety Officer) to have a crypto wallet to receive incentives.
  • Wallets need to be simple to create and manage from rural locations (mobile-first preferred). And of course be visual to workers
  • They accumulate incentives based on verified actions (POC scorecard model).
  1. Recording System for Owed Incentives

We need a backend ledger (on or off-chain) to track what is owed to each CSO/Surgeon/Nurse in incentives—per child, per step.

Incentives are saved, and CSO/Surgeons/Nurses can request payouts for wealth building reasons (e.g. land, education, health).

  1. Redemption Flow Back to POC

When a CSO wants to redeem saved incentives, there must be a crypto-to-bank bridge.

This would look like:

  1. a) CSO requests redemption
  2. b) Transfers crypto back to POC wallet
  3. c) POC initiates a direct bank transfer to the vendor or person (e.g. land seller, school) — not to CSO.
  4. Donor Purchase of POC Coin + NFT Child LifeChanger Receipt

Donors contribute via fiat or crypto to buy a Proof of Care Coin (e.g. $1,000 USD).

In return, they receive an NFT linked to the child they helped (1-of-1 token, with metadata on child’s story and journey).

The NFT is symbolic and traceable, possibly with video embedded. It may or may not have a tradeable value in time

Overall Requirements

Well L that’s the advice we need (others cc’d onto this email are supporters)

Next Steps

Would you be willing to help architect this layer for us? Even at a technical advisory level, your involvement would mean a lot. If it makes sense, we can discuss:

Let me know what you think and when would be a good time to speak.

Gratefully,
