Surgeons do not film. Hospital staff or the outreach worker films at the hospital. Grace films the child at home.
Grace finds the child in Kigoma or the surrounding area. She films them before any treatment has started. She sends the video to the POC WhatsApp number with no caption.
The surgery takes place at Selian (Children's) Hospital, Arusha with surgeons Dr Amon and Dr Elibariki. A registered hospital staff member — not the surgeon — films the child at the hospital. This could be a nurse, hospital administrator, or the outreach worker if they are present.
When the child has recovered and is ready to leave Selian Hospital, a hospital staff member films them departing. This confirms treatment and aftercare are fully complete before the child travels home.
When the child arrives back home in Kigoma, Grace contacts the family and calls POC on WhatsApp to confirm the child is home and well. This is a voice call or voice message — not a video.
Each square below represents one piece of the picture. Dark = minted (created). When all 7 are dark — the picture is complete and payment releases automatically.
